Job summary

Steer, expanding its Feasibility design & Case making practice, seeks a Traffic Modeller/Analyst to join a London-focused team delivering a broad portfolio of transport projects in the UK and overseas.

You will support senior staff in microsimulation and junction modelling using VISSIM, LIN(SIG), VISUM and other tools, contributing from feasibility through to delivery with opportunities for growth in modelling and analysis.

Qualifications

Proven ability to think analytically and provide input across lifecycle of projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for reports and client interaction.
Experience in transport modelling and analysis within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Provide analytical input and support multi-modal modelling assessments with senior modellers.
Lead work streams within projects, applying best-practice techniques.
Deliver high-quality highway and transportation analysis across projects including major developments.
Manage sub-consultants and staff on projects as required.
Take responsibility to deliver key tasks on various projects.
Prepare and present reports, proposals, and design reports.
Assist in budget management and forecasting for projects.
Participate in training to develop technical and consultancy skills.
