Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer (Remote, United Kingdom)

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a balanced mix of home working and onsite presence for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and crossings, adhering to approved procedures and creating specifications
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design planning
• Develop complex MOVA Designs and Datasets
• Apply knowledge of standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Validate MOVA systems for junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have experience in designing signalised junctions and crossings and are looking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing fresh perspectives to traffic signal design solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Experience with LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
