Job description

Lead Traffic Control Systems Engineer (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Hemel Hempstead

This role involves leading the design of complex traffic signal systems, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems for infrastructure projects. The position offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence, suitable for site surveys, design validation, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities include on-site inspections, technical design and specifications for signalised junctions, oversight of new product ideas, and validation of complex junctions using MOVA technology. Candidates should have experience with traffic standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings and be ready to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role. Essential skills include proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, AutoTURN, TOPAS 2500A, MOVA tools, LinSig 3, and a full UK driving license.
