Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems for high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence for surveys, design validation, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs and specifications for complex signalised junctions and crossings
• Provide technical oversight and develop new product ideas and design plans
• Prepare complex MOVA Designs and Datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Validate MOVA systems for complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in designing signalised junctions and crossings and seek to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing new perspectives to traffic signal design.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
• Familiarity with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking
• Knowledge of LinSig 3
• Full UK Driving Licence
