Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a 50/50 split between remote work and onsite presence, suitable for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Joining Telent's Engineering Team, you'll be empowered to innovate and collaborate with technical experts dedicated to impactful work, contributing to the nation's critical infrastructure connectivity and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision
• Prepare technical designs for complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings according to approved procedures, including technical specifications
• Provide technical oversight for new product or service ideas and design plans
• Prepare complex MOVA designs and datasets
• Ensure compliance with standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual
• Validate MOVA systems for complex junctions and roundabouts

Candidate Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have prior experience in designing signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings and are looking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role, bringing new perspectives to traffic signal design.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN
• Microsoft Office skills
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications
