Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer - United Kingdom (Remote)

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design of complex signalised junctions, pedestrian crossings, and intelligent traffic control systems across various high-profile infrastructure projects. This role offers a balanced mix of home working and onsite presence, ideal for surveys, design validations, and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site inspections, surveys, commissioning, and supervision.
• Prepare technical designs of complex signalised junctions and pedestrian crossings, adhering to approved procedures and specifications.
• Provide technical oversight and contribute ideas for new products or services, including planning and design development.
• Prepare complex MOVA Designs and Datasets.
• Ensure compliance with design standards such as TSRGD, DMRB, and the Traffic Signs Manual.
• Validate MOVA systems for complex junctions and roundabouts.

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates will have prior experience designing signalised junctions and crossings, seeking to advance to a Senior Design Services Engineer role with a fresh perspective on traffic signal design solutions.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Keysignals, OSC Mapper, and AutoTURN software.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of TOPAS 2500A Traffic Signal Controller Specifications.
• Experience with MOVA tools, datasets, and linking.
• Knowledge of LinSig 3.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
