Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group in London seeks an Associate Director to join the Structuring team within Transaction Banking Solutions, supporting the structuring and execution of complex Trade and Working Capital solutions for corporate and institutional clients.

You will work with coverage, sales, product, operations, risk and legal to shape viable solutions, from structuring through execution, with a focus on delivering value and maintaining risk controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in transaction banking and trade finance.
• Ability to structure and execute customised transactions for corporate or financial institution clients.
• Strong financial modelling across transaction structures (cash flow, pricing, returns).
• Knowledge of credit, legal documents, product governance and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Act as a client-facing structuring partner, shaping trade and working capital proposals and supporting pitches and pricing discussions.
• Develop and negotiate transaction structures and term sheets across various trade and finance products.
• Lead transaction due diligence and financial modelling for opportunities, assessing risks and returns.
• Coordinate structure through approval, execution, documentation and handover to delivery teams.
• Provide input to underwriting and credit approval, escalating material issues as needed.
