Vallum Associates is seeking an experienced Test Automation Architect for the BY WMS Transformation Program in Coventry. This six-month contract role is hybrid, with two days onsite per week at the Sainsburys SSC unit in Ansty Park.

The candidate will design and implement automation frameworks, lead API and integration testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Strong programming skills (Java, TypeScript, Python, JavaScript) and experience with CI/CD (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub

Qualifications

• Strong experience in test automation architecture and framework design.
• Expertise in automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured.
• Hands-on API and integration testing automation.
• Knowledge of BY WMS or similar enterprise WMS platforms.
• Strong programming skills: Java, TypeScript, Python, JavaScript.
• Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of Agile/SAFe methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Knowledge of test data management and environment setup.
• Strong stakeholder and cross-team collaboration skills.
