Job summary

Qualifications

• Chartered member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. CEng MICE) or substantial experience in construction engineering.
• Experience leading complex construction engineering services, including temporary works design.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and design management across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven track record delivering innovative, buildable solutions that improve project efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead temporary works design and checking, integrated with permanent works where applicable.
• Provide tender and bid support through feasibility studies and concept development.
• Manage design projects, lead multidisciplinary teams and act as lead designer.
• Review third-party designs for compliance with client and Kier requirements.
• Offer technical expertise as part of a centre of engineering excellence, mentoring staff.
