Job summary

FCDO Services seeks a UK NACE Senior Technical Security Countermeasures Officer to lead technical security countermeasures across UK and international sites. Based at Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes, the role requires regular travel and on-site leadership of security installation and testing teams.

You will manage small teams, oversee inspections, TEMPEST testing, and live monitoring, and develop safe systems of work while maintaining highest security standards in a dynamic national security

Qualifications

• Level 4 Security or Engineering qualification, or Level 3 Physics/Engineering/Technology with potential to upgrade to Level 4 within five years.
• Experience managing small teams and working with technical protective security systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation and construction security assurance, inspections, acoustic and RF testing, TEMPEST testing, and live monitoring on UK and overseas sites.
• Provide technical support and advice, develop safe systems of work, and ensure risk assessments and health and safety policies are followed.
• Travel UK and overseas, including international trips of varying durations, with weekend/out-of-hours work as required.
