Job summary

Encon Staffing Associates Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Manager in Warwickshire to lead development projects from acquisition through to final adoption. You will oversee residential engineering works, assess planning and site requirements, and ensure designs meet value engineering standards.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to manage external consultants while coordinating with multiple disciplines to meet tight delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Technical Manager within the industry.
• Degree in engineering related subject.
• Experience in managing all technical elements of house building.
• Excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to resolve issues quickly.
• Able to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Project manage new developments from acquisition to final adoption.
• Oversee engineering in residential development including S104/38/278 works, utilities, remediation, topography and foundations.
• Check consultant designs for compliance and value engineering.
• Manage external consultants for cost control, quality and programme.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and teams to meet delivery timelines.
• Propose practical solutions and drive projects to conclusion.
• Maintain awareness of bigger picture and impact on delivery requirements.
