Job summary

Hippo Digital Limited is seeking a Lead Technical Architect to shape architectural vision and technical strategy for client work and internal practice. You will lead complex engagements, provide architectural oversight, and mentor a team of architects and engineers across multiple projects.

You will influence C-suite stakeholders and contribute to pre-sales, thought leadership, and the ongoing evolution of Hippo's cloud-native, secure, scalable platforms.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience as a Technical Architect or equivalent with a track record of leading large-scale digital transformations.
• Proven design and implementation experience across major public cloud platforms, including multi-cloud strategies.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and modern CI/CD tooling experience.
• Extensive IaC experience with Terraform for complex deployments.
• Proven ability to influence C-suite and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Define and evangelise the architectural vision, standards and best practices across the delivery practice.
• Act as trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders to guide long-term technical strategy.
• Lead complex technical engagements with architectural oversight and QA.
• Mentor and coach senior engineers and architects.
• Drive pre-sales and bids, shaping technical responses and opportunities.
• Contribute to thought leadership through public speaking, writing and community engagement.
• Make architectural decisions that impact multiple projects or clients.
