Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd in Liverpool is recruiting for a Lead Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in the L18 area. You will work closely with teachers to support pupils across the primary setting and lead learning activities when required.

The ideal candidate is a graduate with experience with children, confident with different ages and needs, and able to take responsibility. A degree in Education or related subjects is highly desirable; SEN experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant subject would be highly desirable.
• Experience in a primary school, SEN setting, childcare or tutoring helps.
• Strong interest in education and pupil development.

Responsibilities

• Leading small-group learning and intervention sessions.
• Providing 1:1 support where required.
• Supporting pupils with SEN and additional needs.
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities.
• Taking responsibility for groups of pupils when required.
• Supporting positive behaviour and engagement.
