Job summary

Expleo Defence in Belfast seeks an experienced Work Package Manager to lead defined engineering work packages within Systems and Software. You will plan, coordinate and deliver to time, cost, quality and technical standards, aligning across engineering leads, project managers and authorities.

You will coordinate dependencies, manage risks and provide clear reports to programme leadership, supporting technical reviews and customer meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in engineering discipline relevant to systems and software.
• Professional engineering or project management qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of allocated Systems and/or Software work packages from planning through delivery.
• Develop and maintain detailed work package plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across Systems, Software and multidisciplinary teams.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables and acceptance criteria.
• Monitor progress against cost, schedule, quality and technical targets.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Prepare status reports for project leadership.
• Support customer meetings, reviews and programme governance.
