Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or a related field.
• Experience with system integration and performance optimisation.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills with a hands-on approach.
• Strong organisational and communication skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with marine systems or complex system-of-systems integration is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• System Ownership: Oversee product integration and system performance, ensuring compliance with technical and operational requirements.
• Requirements Management: Capture, derive, validate, and manage system requirements.
• Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, software, and sensor teams to achieve successful system integration.
• Debugging and Optimisation: Lead troubleshooting efforts and implement system-level improvements to the product platforms.
• Integration and Testing: Develop and execute integration and commissioning plans, conducting testing and acceptance activities in the workshop and on trials.
• Interface Management: Define and manage system interfaces to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical, integration and operational risks to minimise impact on system performance and project timelines.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of designs, configurations, and test results.
• Field Support: Provide technical oversight during deployment and real-world operations.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyse system performance post-deployment and recommend enhancements.
