Job summary

HS2 Ltd. invites applications for a Lead Surveyor based at Fort Dunlop, Birmingham. You will oversee pre- and post-construction defect surveys, drainage surveys and land and fencing condition surveys, coordinating data management and reporting across the project footprint.

You will work within the BBV JV framework, ensure safety, GDPR compliance, and timely delivery, guiding survey teams and liaising with stakeholders to keep milestones on track. Applicants must have right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Delivery of pre & Post construction Defect Survey.
• Delivery of pre & Post construction Drainage Surveys.
• Delivery of Post construction Land and fencing condition Surveys.
• An enthusiastic approach and ability to learn/adapt with project progression.
• Proficient to an intermediate level in working practices and IT systems.
• Clear communication of safe systems of work and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of pre & Post construction Defect Survey.
• Delivery of pre & Post construction Drainage Surveys.
• Delivery of Post construction Land and fencing condition Surveys.
• Management of survey databases, analysis and reporting.
• Lead recording/reporting Settlement Deeds on HS2 SRM per BBV requirements.
• Use HS2 SRM for Settlement Deed activities and compliance tracking.
• Signature and timely return of deeds from property owners.
• GDPR compliant data gathering, collation and storage.
• Ability to visit survey locations, produce survey reports, and meet deadlines.
• Organisational and analytical skills; develop processes and follow procedures.
