Job summary

Dimensions in Weymouth seeks a Lead Support Worker to guide teams across Weymouth homes, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is delivered. You will report to the Locality Manager and lead by example, promoting independence and inclusion for the people we support.

The role requires a full UK driving licence and car, 37.5 hours per week on a rota, and opportunities for progression. Sleep-in shifts are paid, with overtime uplift available.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in residential care settings.
• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities/autism or similar.
• Ability to supervise and conduct 1-2-1s with staff.

About the Role

Working accross multiple seetings in the Weymouth area. Reporting to Registered Locality Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the homes, ensuring high-quality, person-centred support is consistently delivered.

You will:

• Lead by example to deliver outstanding support


• Empower the people we support to live fulfilling, independent lives
  
• Support colleagues through supervisions and 1-2-1s


• Work collaboratively with the management team


• Occasionally support with off-rota administrative tasks


• Be flexible to work across other homes within the locality if required

Working Pattern:

Mixture of shifts:7:00am - 2:30pm & 2:30pm - 10:00pm

Sleep-in shifts required (£50 per night) and alternate weekends

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about person-centred support and inclusion

• Has experience supporting people with learning disabilities/autism (or similar)


• Is confident supporting colleagues and stepping into a leadership role


• Can work flexibly across services when needed


• Lives in (or near) the West Dorset/Weymouth area
