Job summary

Dimensions is hiring a Support Worker for Dorchester (DT1). You will assist residents living in flats in the Poundbury area, helping them pursue independent lives at home and in the community.

We welcome applicants with or without prior sector experience. Full training and ongoing support are provided, with shifts including early, late, and long day options to suit your needs.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS disclosure required.
• Full UK/EU Driving Licence required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We're looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to join our friendly team in Dorchester.

You’ll support three of the six people with LearningDisabilities who live in their own flats in a complex in the Poundbury area of Dorchester, helping them enjoy fulfilling, independent lives both at home and within their local community. Every day is different—you could be supporting someone to pursue their hobbies, attend appointments, enjoy social activities, or simply achieve their personal goals.

Whether you have previous support experience or are completely new to the sector, we’d love to hear from you. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Typical Shifts

• Early: 7:30am – 2:30pm
• Late: 2:30pm – 9:30pm
• Long Day: 8:00am – 9:00pm
