A leading organization in Ipswich is seeking a part-time Lead Support Worker to assist individuals with complex mental health needs. Temporary position until the end of October 2025, part-time (32.5 hours per week). Pay: £13.21 to £13.63 per hour, plus benefits including a Health Cash Plan.
About the Role: As a Lead Support Worker (Support Coordinator), you will support customers with complex mental health needs to develop skills for independent living. Your daily tasks may include assisting with daily activities, supporting skill development (e.g., cooking, shopping, budgeting), arranging community activities, managing referrals, and supporting customers through crises.
What We Expect:
Team and Working Conditions: Flexible hours with a rolling rota, including days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Shifts typically run from 9 am to 5/6 pm, 2 pm to 11 pm, or sleep-in shifts. Regular team meetings and training sessions are part of the schedule. Use of technology for support plans and online learning is required. An Enhanced DBS check will be paid for.
