Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Lead/Senior Engineer for Subsea XT Technologies in Scotland. You will lead design and development from concept through qualification, delivering competitive, robust subsea solutions.

You will work across global teams, ensuring manufacturability and adherence to industry standards. Requirements include a engineering degree, strong CAD/GD&T skills, and experience with CREO and PLM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Strong CAD experience with 3D models and detailed drawings; GD&T and DFMA knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and projects simultaneously.
• Experience leading global teams and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop Subsea XT technologies aligned with customer needs.
• Generate designs, drawings, BOMs, and qualification testing plans.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, and resources; lead risk/changes.
• Lead global teams and collaborate across functions with DFMA focus.
• Provide technical guidance and peer reviews, mentor others.
