Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Head of Submissions to provide strategic and operational leadership for our submissions function in Waterbeach, Cambridge (with flexibility for other bases).

You will deliver high-quality, client-focused submissions across bid cycles and collaborate with Business Development, Pre-Construction, Operations and our Centre of Excellence to win work. • Experience with governance and quality assurance in submissions.

Responsibilities

• Set submissions strategy, standards and operating model for the business unit.
• Act as the senior submissions authority for strategically important, high-value and complex opportunities.
• Partner with teams across the business to develop winning strategies and client-focused submissions.
• Establish governance and quality assurance arrangements to ensure submissions are accurate, compliant and delivered to programme.
• Leading, coaching and developing the submissions team, creating an inclusive, high-performing culture.
