Job summary

ALPINE RACING LIMITED invites applications for Head of Structural Analysis & Materials in Enstone. You lead the Structural Analysis and Materials functions, steering load definition, FEA methods, and material technologies to optimise performance, weight and reliability while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will build technical capability, shape engineering workflows, and drive data-driven approaches across Design, Aerodynamics, Manufacturing and Trackside teams in a high-performance

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Materials Science or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of finite element analysis, structural mechanics, composites and metallic structures.
• Experience leading technical teams in motorsport, automotive or aerospace.
• Proficiency with Abaqus, Python, Unix/Linux and HPC environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and people leadership for Structural Analysis and Materials functions.
• Set direction for the department and align resources with priorities.
• Oversee load definition, FEA, correlation/validation, and materials development.
• Drive advanced materials technologies and engineering automation.
• Collaborate with Design, Aerodynamics, Manufacturing and Trackside teams to support performance and reliability.
