Job summary

Ferrovial Construction seeks a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer to lead structural design for water treatment and related facilities. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensure compliance with UK standards, and drive value engineering and digital design solutions.

With global projects and a strong focus on safety and quality, you will play a key role in delivering complex infrastructure by integrating civil, geotechnical and process disciplines across projects in the water sector.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer (CEng) in Civil or Structural Engineering is required.
• Extensive experience delivering major infrastructure projects with significant structural scope.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills are essential.
• Knowledge of UK design standards and Eurocodes is expected.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for structural engineering across water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Lead the design and coordination of structural elements within treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs and related infrastructure.
• Provide expert input from early development through to construction and handover.
• Coordinate external designers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
