Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to join our Google Cloud SRE team within the Infrastructure Platform. You will drive reliability across global Google Cloud environments and lead DevOps practices to automate and scale services.

You will bring strong cloud expertise (Google Cloud, Azure), container tech (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, Helm), programming (Python/Go), and a focus on observability, incident response, and AI-assisted SRE workflows to improve resilience and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in SRE with Google Cloud in production environments.
• Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker and cloud-native tooling.
• Strong scripting (Python/Go) and REST API know-how.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement SRE frameworks across global Google Cloud environments.
• Drive automation and DevOps practices to ensure elastic services.
• Provide oversight and problem resolution for engineering activities.
• Support incident triage, post-incident analysis and documentation.
• Champion AI-assisted SRE workflows with proper guardrails.
