Job summary

JPMorgan Chase seeks a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to drive SRE practices for Google Cloud within a global, follow-the-sun support model. You will lead framework deployments, incident analysis, and documentation across infrastructure platforms.

You will work with teams on AI-assisted workflows, governance, and cost management while applying DevOps principles to automate and scale services globally.

Qualifications

• Google and Azure cloud in production environments.
• Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, GKE and Helm.
• Programming in Python, Shell or Go with REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud tools for deployment, monitoring and ops (Google Observability, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Elasticsearch).
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to improve SRE workflows with validated outputs.
• Ability to define guardrails for AI usage and align outcomes with resiliency and security.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud governance and cost management.
• Experience with Agile, CI/CD, Git, IaC (Terraform), and Jenkins.
• Google Cloud certification or equivalent cloud experience.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI SDKs and Copilot skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement SRE frameworks for global Google Cloud environments.
• Ensure high SLOs through operational excellence.
• Support AI-enabled incident triage and post-incident analysis.
• Develop and improve engineering documentation.
• Provide technical supervision and problem resolution for engineering activities.
• Champion a DevOps model for automation and elasticity across platforms.
