Job summary

The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our school age team. The role focuses on specialist assessment, treatment and management for CYP with SEND, in Wolverhampton, within an established SLT service that spans inpatient and community settings.

You will work in collaboration with the Team Leaders and the multidisciplinary team, contributing to the Experts at Hand offer and ensuring high-quality, CYP-centered care across services.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist preschool and school-age assessment, treatment and management in conjunction with the Head of Service.
• Deliver SLT services to Children and Young People (CYP) in Wolverhampton day-to-day.
• Collaborate with MDT and Team Leaders to develop and deliver services including Experts at Hand.
• Support delivery model for children with SEND.
• Uphold Trust values in professional practice.
