Job summary

Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust in Portsmouth is seeking a Speech and Language Therapist Team Lead to oversee the clinical delivery of the therapy service for children aged 0-19 within a defined locality.

You will support the Children's Therapy Manager with operational and quality management, line manage staff, support recruitment and appraisals, and deputise as needed to ensure integrated care across health, education and social care partners.

Responsibilities

• Operationally manage the clinical delivery of the therapy service for a defined profession and locality.
• Provide operational and quality management of integrated models of care within the locality, including team support, supervision and performance management, recruitment, appraisals, communications and governance.
• Deputise for the therapy manager when required.
