Job summary

Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to join the leadership team as a Clinical Service Lead. You will manage operational and clinical delivery of the Children’s SLT service in Ealing, shaping service development and working with Education, Social Care and voluntary sectors to deliver SEND reforms.

Qualifications

• Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
• HCPC registration as a speech and language therapist and RCSLT member.
• Post-registration qualification in Paediatrics or related clinical field.
• Evidence of post-registration CPD and self-directed learning.
• Registered member of RCSLT.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and operational management for the Paediatric SLT service in Ealing.
• Support the Clinical Services Manager and Professional Paediatric Therapy Lead in strategic management and service development.
• Act as role model to deliver high-quality patient care and service development.
• Develop partnerships with MDT colleagues, schools, social services and LA SEND teams.
• Lead joint service planning with local authority and oversee QA processes and safety improvements.
