Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist to lead the Communication and Interaction Team (School Age). This 1.0 wte post is HCPC registered and offers a flexible, part-time arrangement with potential job sharing.

You will support children and young people to reach their communication goals, work across schools, hospitals, and community settings, and provide leadership and supervision to the SLT team while promoting

Qualifications

• Knowledge of identification, definition and remediation of speech disorders.
• Experience leading teams and managing caseloads.
• Evidence of leadership and supervision of clinical staff.
• HCPC registration required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the service for school-age children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs and communication difficulties.
• Work across settings: schools, nurseries, hospitals, clinics, homes, and via virtual platforms.
