Zusammenfassung

Amazonico London is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support and lead our dynamic kitchen brigade in Mayfair. You’ll be hands-on with food preparation, staff training, stock control, and service coordination to deliver the Amazonico experience.

You’ll also assist the Senior Sous and Executive Chefs with menu development and seasonal specials. We reward bold flavours, precise execution and strong leadership in a premium, high-volume setting.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef in a premium or high‑volume kitchen.
• Confident leadership and mentoring abilities.
• A passion for precise execution and bold flavours.
• High standards of cleanliness, organisation, and professionalism.
• Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen health & safety.

Aufgaben

• Ensure mise en place is completed efficiently and maintained throughout service.
• Prepare and present dishes in line with Amazonico’s standards and specifications.
• Supervise and support junior chefs across all sections.
• Oversee food quality, portion control, and consistency during service.
• Assist with stock orders, rotation, and inventory management.
• Support in onboarding and training of new kitchen staff.
• Contribute to the creation of new dishes and seasonal specials.
• Complete daily and weekly reports as required.
• Step into leadership when senior kitchen management is not present.
