Job summary

wagamama ltd in Ashton-under-Lyne is seeking a full-time Sous Chef to support leading the kitchen team and shifts. You will ensure every dish is cooked to order with fresh ingredients, maintaining high standards across the kitchen and driving team growth.

You’ll coach staff, manage line performance, and apply food safety, cost control, and Kaizen-style continuous improvement to deliver bold flavours and great guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in a busy kitchen.
• Experience in training and developing team members.
• Understanding of food safety and HACCP standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts and support the management team.
• Ensure every dish is prepared to standard with consistency.
