Job summary

TikTok is hiring a Lead Solution Engineer to architect scalable, production-grade solutions for advertising clients and internal teams. You will partner with Product, R&D, and Customer Success to turn business needs into robust technical outcomes.

The role requires a hands-on leader with a track record in software delivery, ML infrastructure, and API design, capable of guiding cross-functional groups and communicating complex concepts clearly across audiences.

Qualifications

5+ years of software development experience with architectural design and delivery.
3+ years in a technical leadership role.
Experience with API/backend systems design and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C/C++).
Hands-on ML infrastructure experience including model training, deployment, evaluation, and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of scalable, production-grade solutions with cross-functional teams.
Provide architecture guidance and drive engineering excellence across Solutions Engineering.
Identify and develop commercial opportunities with advertising clients.
Collaborate with customer success to drive business outcomes.
Design end-to-end systems and launch plans with maintainable, scalable code.
