Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Lead Solution Engineer to partner with business verticals and enable new features, products, and business opportunities for advertising clients. The role collaborates with R&D, Customer Success, and Product Management to deliver scalable, production-grade solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams to leverage data, drive architectural excellence, and communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to maximize business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in a Lead/Staff/Principal Engineer or equivalent senior technical leadership role.
• 5+ years of programming/backend design and delivery to clients/advertisers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable, production-grade solutions with Product Engineering teams.
• Act as a technical leader and SME across Solutions Engineering, providing architectural guidance.
• Understand and apply TikTok products to identify and maximize new commercial prospects with advertisers.
• Cultivate partnerships with the customer success team to identify opportunities and support business goals.
• Design and launch end-to-end systems with maintainability and proper documentation and tests.
• Identify stakeholders and align cross-functional partners toward project completion.
