Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Principal Solution Engineer for the UK market who will partner with the account sales team and channel partners to understand customer needs and guide them through evaluation to selection of Snowflake as the solution. You will translate complex data challenges into Snowflake-enabled business outcomes.

You will work hands-on with prospects, demonstrating value across the sales cycle, and build technical champions while collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Marketing

Qualifications

• Experience with modern data technology stacks (dbt, Spark, containers, orchestration tools, Git).
• Solution engineering/architect experience in a SaaS environment (analytics, data science, data engineering).
• Outstanding presentation skills to technical and executive audiences, including demos and whiteboard sessions.
• Understanding of data architecture, data analytics and cloud technology.
• Hands-on SQL experience and ability to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Ability to solve customer business problems using Snowflake solutions.

Responsibilities

• Present Snowflake’s technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Demonstrate and communicate Snowflake value throughout the sales cycle from demo to PoC to design and implementation.
• Develop technical champions in accounts to drive deals and achieve a technical win.
• Present Snowflake roadmap features and functionality to customers and prospects.
• Stay at the cutting edge of Snowflake technology and competitive landscape.
