Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems Ltd. is hiring a Solar & Battery Storage Technician to operate and maintain MW-scale plants across Dorset/Bournemouth. You will ensure safety, quality and performance while working as part of a leading renewable energy team.

The role requires a qualified electrician with HV awareness, SCADA knowledge and willingness to travel. It offers a field-based schedule, on-call weekends, and opportunities for professional growth within RES.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and electrical qualifications required.
• Experience with MW-scale plants and HV safety practices.
• Knowledge of solar PV, battery storage, SCADA and networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate MW-scale solar PV and battery storage plants.
• Ensure safety, quality and performance within budget.
• Travel between sites and offices; on-call weekends as part of rota.
