Job summary

TipTopJob in Sheffield is seeking a Solar PV Project Manager / Electrical Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of renewable energy installations, from design through commissioning. You will coordinate EPC delivery, utilities interfaces, and site teams across commercial and industrial sites, with hybrid work options.

The role emphasizes stakeholder management, budget control, RAMS compliance, and timely handover packs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within Solar PV/renewables.
• Experience managing multiple sites and projects.
• Budget management, reporting, and programme delivery.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction/energy.
• Experience with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle delivery of Solar PV and renewable energy projects (design through to commissioning).
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects across commercial and industrial sites.
• Act as primary client interface with stakeholders and customers.
• Coordinate EPC delivery, including subcontractors, site teams, and internal engineering.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and programme timelines.
• Lead health and safety planning, RAMS, and compliance across sites.
• Support grid connection processes, permits, and DNO applications.
• Work with design teams on technical specifications and layouts.
• Ensure high-quality project documentation and handover packs.
