Job summary

Myriad Products in the UK is seeking a Design Manager to lead the solar PV design function from concept through delivery. You will set technical standards, coordinate output, and ensure designs are buildable, compliant and ready for construction across a portfolio of commercial solar projects.

You will oversee design across multiple concurrent projects, coordinate with operations and delivery teams, and embed compliance within the design process. Hybrid role, commutable to Melton Mowbray.

Qualifications

• Senior solar PV designer with construction sector experience.
• Proven ability to manage design across multiple commercial projects.
• Proficient in Revit and IFC-based workflows.
• Strong coordination and communication with project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and coordinating design output across multiple concurrent commercial solar PV projects.
• Producing and reviewing detailed designs using Revit and IFC-based workflows.
• Ensuring all designs are compliant with relevant standards, grid requirements and regulatory frameworks.
• Maintaining and developing design standards, processes and documentation—single-line diagrams, equipment schedules, string layouts, shading analysis and yield assessments.
• Working closely with project and delivery teams to ensure smooth handover from design to construction.
• Supporting the resolution of technical queries, design reviews and value engineering exercises across the project portfolio.
