Job summary

WallStreetdocs is seeking a Lead Software Engineer– PRIIP Cloud to lead the technical design, development, operation, and evolution of our cloud-based PRIIP documentation and reporting platform. This hands-on, full-stack leadership role covers UI, APIs, backend, data processing, cloud infra, security, observability, and production support.

You will mentor a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, and Architecture to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant full-stack development.
• Proven experience owning production systems and supporting live business-critical platforms.
• Strong experience designing and building cloud-native distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience across frontend and backend technologies.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript/Node.js, React, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical architecture and end-to-end delivery of the PRIIP Cloud platform.
• Define and maintain architectural standards, design patterns, and platform roadmaps.
• Lead technical decision-making across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and cloud infra.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, observable, and maintainable.
• Drive CI/CD adoption, infrastructure-as-code, and engineering automation.
• Own production operation and reliability, incident response, and service restoration.
