Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in social work.
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Recent managerial experience, ideally as a Team Manager or similar.
• Strong understanding of Children in Care and Care Leaver services.
• Proven ability to lead teams to achieve positive outcomes.
• Experience in managing complex cases and liaising with partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership to a team of social workers.
• Oversee care and permanence planning and statutory visiting.
• Support staff development and foster high support/high challenge.
• Build partnerships with sector agencies to improve services.
• Lead on complex case planning including court-related transitions.
• Promote relationship-based practice to achieve timely permanence.
