Sanctuary Personnel in Bournemouth is seeking a Locum Social Work Team Manager for the Children in Care Team. This full-time, 3-month assignment offers an hourly rate of £45.92 and a chance to lead a dedicated group of professionals within a dynamic local authority.

You will oversee delivery of high-quality services to care-experienced young people aged 16 and above, coordinate with partners, and ensure safe, lawful practice while supporting team development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Children in Care Team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service to young people.
• Support care-experienced young people aged 16 and above with their education, employment, housing, health, and financial planning.
• Develop and implement strategies to support young people as they prepare for independence and transition into adulthood.
• Manage and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and nurturing team environment.
• Liaise with other professionals and agencies to coordinate comprehensive support for each young person.
• Assess and evaluate the needs of young people to create and monitor effective care plans.
• Ensure compliance with current legislation, policies, and best practices.
