Job summary

Newbridge is seeking an experienced Band 7 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to lead therapy services for children with complex communication needs in a three-site SEN Trust.

You will provide clinical leadership, supervise junior staff, and work with families, schools and external agencies to deliver personalised, evidence-based interventions. The role offers flexible working and strong opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered SALT with significant post-qualification experience.
• Proven work with children with complex needs including PMLD/ASD.
• Leadership, supervision, and service development experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and specialist input for pupils with complex needs.
• Lead on service development and evidence-based practice.
• Supervise junior therapists, therapy assistants and students.
• Collaborate with school staff, families and external agencies.
• Contribute to EHCPs, multi-agency reviews and staff training.
