Job summary

Equans is seeking a Site Manager for our East London project. This full-time role involves leading the safe delivery of refurbishment works, including recladding, coordinating site teams and subcontractors, and monitoring cost and schedule to meet client specifications.

You will also manage health and safety, conduct inspections, prepare documentation, and develop site staff. Experience with recladding or complex refurbishments is advantageous; a full driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Proven site management experience on refurbishment projects.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe delivery of building refurbishment works, including recladding.
• Coordinate site teams and subcontractors; monitor programme, quality and costs.
• Maintain HSE standards; ensure works meet specifications and client requirements.
• Issue reports and attend client meetings to ensure project setup and progress.
• Coach and develop site teams; manage defects and NCRs as needed.
• Liaise with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, consultants and clients.
