Job summary

Carrington West seeks an experienced Highways Agent to oversee the delivery of road and pavement works on a major Scottish infrastructure project. You will manage site operations, coordinate engineering and construction teams, and supervise subcontractors to ensure safety and quality.

The ideal candidate has proven highway or infrastructure project leadership, strong programme and quality control, plus relevant construction qualifications and on-site experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Highways Agent or Sub Agent.
• Strong road and pavement construction experience.
• Experience on major highways or infrastructure schemes.
• Proven ability to manage site teams and subcontractors.
• Strong understanding of programme, quality and health & safety.
• Relevant construction qualifications and site experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of road and pavement works on site.
• Manage site operations and coordinate engineering and construction teams.
• Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely and to required standards.
• Maintain supervision of quality, programme deadlines and safety compliance on site.
