Orion is partnered with a well-established manufacturing business located in Basingstoke, which is recruiting for a highly skilled electrically biased Maintenance Engineer.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Benefits:

• Competitive Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 + £3,500 Shift Premium

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Shifts:

• Rotational shift pattern of days and nights
• Maximum of 3-4 weekends worked per year
• 12-hour shifts

Experience Requirements:

• Electrical bias with a UK-recognised electrical engineering qualification
• Right to work long-term in the UK without sponsorship
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
• Multi-skilled experience in manufacturing
• Strong machinery maintenance skills
• Experience with PLCs, sensors, panel boards, motors, relays
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Machinery installation experience

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with maintenance team on reactive and planned maintenance
• Electrical and mechanical machinery installation and modifications
• Maintenance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Perform autonomous and preventative maintenance, recording work accurately
• Provide detailed shift handovers

Days Engineer Qualifications/Experience:

• ONC/HNC or equivalent in engineering (preferably electrical)
• 18th Edition wiring regulations
• Experience in FMCG
