Job summary

Finsbury Food Group is seeking a Shift Senior Engineer for its Fletcher site in Sheffield. You will work with the Engineering Shift Manager to support day-to-day priorities, drive maintenance plans and lead the shift engineering team to ensure smooth operations.

This role involves deputising for the Shift Manager during holidays or absences, maintaining HSE standards, and coaching the engineering team while progressing plant improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background.
• Experience in plant maintenance and CMMS systems.
• People management and coaching approach to developing team members.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day priorities and workload of the Engineering department.
• Take a lead within the shift engineering team and drive the maintenance plan.
• Deputise for the Engineering Shift Manager during holidays and absences.
• Maintain high Health & Safety standards and manage contractor interactions.
