Job summary

Cartref Ni is a not-for-profit organisation providing 24/7 support to adults with learning disabilities across North Wales. We seek a Service Manager who will lead teams, oversee day-to-day operations and ensure high-quality, rights-respecting services in line with Welsh social care principles.

The role is based on-site in St Asaph with travel to our supported living houses; you will be supported by an Assistant Manager and work 37.5 hours per week under a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Qualified to a level that allows you to register as a social care manager with Social Care Wales.
• Experience in a social care management role, demonstrating strong leadership, safeguarding knowledge and a commitment to person-centred practice.
• A passion for improving outcomes and service delivery.
• Someone who is organised, resilient and committed to delivering a high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership, supervision and development for staff teams.
• Ensure all services meet regulatory standards and deliver outstanding support.
• Oversee operational performance to include auditing, compliance and safeguarding.
• Build positive relationships with the people we support, their families and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote person centred approaches.
