Job summary

Stonewater is seeking a Senior Support Worker to join our Supported Housing team in Swindon. You will lead and support a team of Support Workers to deliver person-centred, high-quality support and help customers work toward independent living.

You will manage a caseload, coordinate referrals and inductions, deliver budgeting, wellbeing and employment skills sessions, and work closely with partner agencies to connect customers with additional support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with vulnerable people and managing caseloads.
• Proven ability to lead and inspire a team.
• Strong partnership working with agencies such as mental health services and housing teams.
• Knowledge of housing and benefits advice.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
• IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and housing management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of Support Workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
• Manage a caseload of customers, helping them work towards independent living.
• Coordinate referrals, assessments, and customer inductions.
• Deliver focused sessions on budgeting, wellbeing, and employment skills.
• Ensure safeguarding practices are followed and risks are managed.
• Collaborate with partner agencies to connect customers with additional support.
