Job summary

Sunblink seeks a Senior Piling Engineer/Project Engineer to join a major ground engineering operation on the Lower Thames Crossing in the UK. You will support and oversee engineering delivery across CFA and rotary piling and related ground improvement works, coordinating with site management and subcontractors.

The role emphasises safety, quality and programme compliance, reviewing drawings and method statements, and ensuring works meet project specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior piling roles on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of CFA/rotary piling methods and ground engineering.
• Proven ability to coordinate site teams and manage engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating day-to-day piling engineering activities.
• Overseeing CFA and rotary piling operations and related ground engineering works.
• Reviewing and implementing engineering drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Coordinating setting out, QA and technical inspections; ensuring programme progress.
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
