Job summary

Moorpark Junior School, part of the New Guild Trust, is seeking a temporary Senior Teaching Assistant to lead the SEND Enhanced provision until 31/08/2027. The postholder will work with the SENDCo and staff to identify needs and ensure pupils access learning for meaningful progress.

You will deliver targeted interventions, provide specialist support in class and withdrawal sessions, and develop strategies and resources to strengthen SEND provision.

Qualifications

• Create, develop and lead an enhanced SEND provision for pupils with additional needs.
• Deliver targeted interventions and planned withdrawal sessions.
• Develop resources and approaches to strengthen SEND provision.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SEND Enhanced provision and respond to individual pupil needs.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, the SENDCo and school team.
• Assess, monitor and evaluate pupil progress in SEND interventions.
• Provide guidance to colleagues and promote inclusive practice.
