Job summary

Sopra Steria in London is expanding its Salesforce practice and seeks a Lead Salesforce Engineer ready to influence solution directions while remaining hands-on. You will design, build and evolve scalable Salesforce solutions across agile teams, providing technical leadership and mentoring engineers.

Hybrid role with 2–3 days in the London office, security clearance preferred, and a package dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Salesforce development expertise including Apex, LWC, Flows and platform configuration.
• Experience designing, developing and delivering Salesforce solutions within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud and Salesforce platform architecture principles.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems, applications and services.
• Knowledge of secure software engineering practices, automated testing and code quality standards.
• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer, Application Architect or System Architect with Agile, product-focused delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple Agile Scrum teams and complex delivery initiatives.
• Develop, review and support Salesforce implementations including Apex, LWC and integrations.
• Translate business requirements into secure, maintainable and high-performing Salesforce solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to drive engineering excellence and code quality.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, solution design workshops and technical roadmaps.
• Drive innovation through modern Salesforce capabilities and AI technologies.
